I’m a wife, mother, and wanna-be-farmer.
I’m sure many people would call me a farmer already, but it doesn’t quite count until my husband, Darryl, can quit his lumber mill job and farm full-time.
In the meantime, we practice with horses, chickens, ducks, and a garden on rented land.
This blog is a glimpse into our lives as we raise
farmhands children, learn to garden, improve the land, make things from scratch, decorate the house on a shoestring, and experiment with raising assorted livestock.
I hope you find these stories as entertaining (though not as exhausting) as we do.
