This is a pile of Styrofoam cutoffs from Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).
Ain’t it pretty?
We got it for free from a construction site Darryl was working at last summer.
Yep, it’s been sitting in our driveway since last summer.
We used a whole bunch of it to insulate the walls of the addition (I’ll show you an update soon!) And 1/3 of the floor. Since we decided to use the fluffy stuff (technical term) for the rest of the floor, as soon as Darryl finished the walls, up went an ad on the classifieds and a couple of days later, someone came and hauled the ugly pile away!
Now I can see the shed.
I am SO happy that’s gone.
I hauled in a couple loads of wood chips within 3 hours of it being gone and it looks like the ICF monster was never there.
More to come…I was browsing through my phone’s gallery and noticed a whole lot of unfinished business.
